casa alamanda

SELF-CATERING ACCOMODATION

MOCLÍN

Casa Alamanda is an elegant village home used to be the local shop, selling everything from food to haberdashery, before falling into disrepair once the previous owners’ family no longer wanted to live there. For 35 years, the house remained empty before a BBC TV production team bought it to be restored for ‘Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job’ in 2024. One of the main themes of the programme was to highlight the plight of rural villages suffering from depopulation, and now the new owners are breathing more life into both the house and the village by inviting guests to come and stay in this beautiful place.
